A couple things, mostly music:
1) Risk! open storyslam at Three of Cups Lounge downstairs (83 1st Ave.). Similar set-up to The Moth (throw your name in the hat if you want to tell a story; free podcast), but this is free! If you're lucky it'll be less crowded than The Moth always is. Optional theme: practical jokes.
2) Free Twin Sister concert at Other Music (15 E. 4th St.). 8p (I recommend arriving a bit early, as the set will probably be short and the store is not huge).
